


ABOUT
Jen Tyes was born on September 18, 1983, in Buffalo, New York. She attended the Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, where she earned her high school degree specializing in Dance. Shortly after graduating from high school, she fulfilled her civic duty by joining the United States Army. She suffered from an injury to her back which led her to leave the military and pursue a Bachelor of Science degree.
In 2006, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Brockport. She later earned her Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and continued her career in Information Technology (IT). She currently works in IT as a Project Manager for a prestigious Insurance company.
In her spare time, Jen volunteers as a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician and is an active member of Alpha Omega Phi Fraternity & Sorority and Girl Scouts of America.
She has written many short stories and enjoys sharing her work with the world. Her biggest accomplishment is Mommy & Me Storytime, an adventure in writing with her children.
Jen currently resides in Connecticut with her husband and two children, their dogs KK, King Butch, Gambit, and Thor.
